Dr. Nayyir Sina

Nayyir Sina, Hidayat Nayyir Sina (b. 1914), son of Muhammad Naraqi. A contemporary poet born in the village of Naraq, Kashan. Having received his primary and secondary education in Tehran, he studied Persian Literature at the Higher Education College, Tehran, and obtained his PhD in Persian Literature. He taught at high schools in Tehran and later at the Faculty of Letters, University of Tehran, and the Military Colelge. He also worked for Radio Iran. His poetry and articles have been published in periodicals in Iran and he also wrote some textbooks for the Military College.
