Sharif Tabrizi, Shaykh Isma’il ibn Husayn (1869-1954), a scholar, belletrist, and poet with the nom de plume Ta’ib and well-known as Mas’alagu. A resided in Mashhad Razawi, he composed numerous works on different subjects. He died in Mashhad and was buried in Bagh Rizwan. His works include: ‘Aqa’id al-Islam, in Turkish, attributed to Muqaddas Ardabili; Mir’at al-Mutaqqin; Majallat al-Muhaqqiqin; al-Balagh al-Mubin; Mi’yar al-Fahm wa Minshar al-Wahm; Tadhkirat al-Mutaqqin; Divan of poetry; mathnawis of Insafnama; Bulbulnama; Tuhfanama; Tazwijnama; Tawhidnama; Thamara-yi Fu’adiyya; Hayratnama; Sa’adatnama; Mahabbatnama; Namazkhana.
