Furuqh Mirdamadi
Biography
Mirdamadi, Furugh (b. 1926), sister of the well-known historian, ‘Abd al-Husayn Nawa’i. In love with poetry and music at an early age, she composed poetry in her early youth and contributed her ghazals, chahar-paras, and mathnawis to the periodicals. Her Divan has not appeared, though her compositions have been included in the majority of poetry collections.
