Vali Shirazi, Muhammad Vali Mirza (fl. nineteenth and twentieth centuries), son of Mirza ‘Ali Sadr. A scholar and poet with the nom de plume Vali who wrote an elegant script of shikasta. He was born into a family of scholars. His grandfather, Hajj Akbar Nawwab, the author of Tazkira-yi Dilgusha, bearing the nom de plume Bismil, was a distinguished scholar. His divan of poetry is extant.
