Bahraynipur, Sayyid Muhammad (1904-1993)
Violinist and a student of Husayn Khan Isma'ilzadih. He was one of the earliest violinists in Persian classical music and was active before 1319/1940 but ceased his career thereafter. A number of his compositions were notated by Lutfullah Mufakhkham Payan, the first professional publisher in the domain of Persian music (1914-1983), published in the book titled Davazdah Tasnif az Davazdah Avaz ("Twelve Compositions of Twelve Avaz," Yafa, Tehran 1327/1948). These compositions were arranged and performed on the Gulha Programs. No solo album has been released by him.
