Shams, Bahram (1922-2004)

Tumbak instrumentalist performing at the Golha orchestra (1956-1973). He studied with Husayn Tihrani and performances in different orchestras from 1950 onward and performed the tumbak at the Golha-yi Javidan orchestra from its establishment. He also accompanied numerous vocalists and instrumentalists on many Golha-yi Rangarang, Barg-i Sabz, and Yik Shakh-i Gol Programs. He was a professional tumbak instrumentalist par excellence but ceased his musical activities after the 1979.
