Haddadi, Sirus (b. 1932-)
An instrumentalist performing on the flute, he first studied at the National Conservatory of Music and then began to perform in various orchestras around 1952. Besides giving concerts and teaching at music schools and universities, he also performed in the Golha-yi rangarang and Gulha-yi taza orchestras from 1970 onwards where his flute can be heard accompanying the vocals of Qavami, ‘Abd al-Vahhab Shahidi, Nasir Mas‘udi, and Ilahi. Sirus Haddadi has been residing abroad now for many years. To date solo album of his has been released.
