Ghulamhusayn Mawlawi (b. 1885), son of Fazl Allah Mawlawi, known as Qawam al-Vizara. A contemporary poet born in Tabriz bearing the nom de plume Tanha. Having completed his studies in history and geography at the Faculty of Letters, the University of Tehran, he embarked upon his teaching career at high schools in Tehran. He was an active member of the Iran Literary Society and a student of Muhammad ‘Ali Nasih. He lives in Tehran and some of his collections of poetry have appeared.
