DESCRIPTION

Sipid u Siyah was weekly periodical that began its activity in 1953 under the management of Ali Behzadi. This magazine first appeared around the 1953 coup that overthrew the Mosadiq government. State journalists of the Islamic Republic accused the magazine of supporting the Pahlavi government and freemasonry. Sipid u Siyah continued publishing till March 1979 when it was closed down by the incoming Islamic government.
